Frequently asked questions and answers about Sound Therapy
For adults we recommend the Complete Program
For children we recommend the Complete family program with the book.
The scratchy sound is caused by the boosting of the hjgh frequencies by the Electronic Ear. The more highly filtered an album is, more scratchy or static sound it will have. This sound is not white noise, as it contains varied frequencies depending on the music. The sudden boost to the high frequencies is what stimulates the ear and brain. It is a very important part of the therapy program and it is definitely meant to be there. Many people even prefer the more highly filtered albums, once their ears become accustomed to the sound.
Album 4 is filtered to 8,000Hz all the way through. On some albums there may be is a short passage that is extremely highly filtered and sounds completely different to the rest of the album. This is done intentionally to give an extra boost of stimulation to the ear, so just enjoy the sound and know that it is doing you good!
If you find the music is disturbing you please turn down the volume, and feel free to have it on while you are doing other things, even if you go into an environment where the Sound Therapy is drowned out by other noise it is still effective. You can even listen to other music or watch TV with it on.
We do not publicize detailed information on the musicians and pieces as the reason for using Sound Therapy is not its artistic delivery but its therapeutic effect. Patricia Joudry made the original albums and it was her decision not to give details on the musicians or the exact selections.
If you do not already have one of Rafaele and Patricia Joudry’s books, we highly recommend that you order one, as the books will answer most of your questions about the program. Having at least one of these books is an essential resource for all Sound Therapy listeners. They give you a depth of knowledge into the theory, results, variety of experiences, comparative treatments and clinical background to the method plus the motivation and incentive to persist and do the program correctly.
You can choose their first book: Sound Therapy: Music to Recharge your Brain or alternatively, Rafaele’s book Triumph Over Tinnitus .
If you are not a big reader, then it is important to at least read the first few chapters. Then you can refer to the rest of the book as questions come up for you. If you are using Sound Therapy for your children then we recommend Rafaele Joudry’s third book, Why Aren't I Learning Which is a complete guide to Sound Therapy and other integration therapies for children.

To our first time enquiries we offer a free booklet and catalogue on Sound Therapy for children, called Listening Helps Learning. Please send us your mailing address and let us know if you would like to receive one of these booklets. The booklet gives detailed enough instructions for any parent or teacher to supervise the listening program for children. For those parents or practitioners who would like more detailed information on how Sound Therapy can help children, we suggest you order Rafaele Joudry’s book, Why Aren't I Learning However, if adults are using the program themselves they require more detailed knowledge and will need to read the book Sound Therapy: Music to Recharge your Brain by Patricia and Rafaele Joudry..
We frequently receive enquiries from people with a particular type of hearing damage asking if Sound Therapy will help their condition. These are some of the conditions people ask about:
Many of our listeners have suffered from industrial noise exposure, and Sound Therapy has often been helpful for these people. In Rafaele Joudry’s books, Sound Therapy: Music to Recharge your Brain and Triumph Over Tinnitus you will read of many such listeners and also the theory behind why Sound therapy helps when the ear has been damaged by noise. While we can never predict the results for a particular individual, there is a good chance that Sound Therapy an help after exposure to industrial or other loud noise.
After a virus or infection it is possible that there is still residual infection or mucous in the ear, or that the mechanical parts of the ear have been damaged by the infection. To fully recover its function, the ear needs gentle, consistent stimulation to restore circulation and re-activate the muscles. There is every chance that Sound Therapy can provide exactly the right stimulation to bring about these changes.
Sound Therapy can potentially help an ear as long as the physical parts are there for the ear to function. If your middle ear has been so severely damaged that it cannot function at all, then Sound has no way of reaching the cochlea except by direct bone conduction. You may be able to stimulate your inner ear by using bone conduction headphones, where the sound generator is placed directly on the cranial bone. However, if you have hearing in your other ear, then Sound Therapy can help you through that ear and can still access your brain and potentially bring you all the other benefits it offers.
Whether the damage occurred before birth, during or after birth, it depends on the degree of damage that was caused to your ear. Sound Therapy has been known to benefit people with mild to severe hearing loss. It has helped people who have had hearing problems all their life stemming from numerous infections during childhood. Sound Therapy gently reintroduces sound as they would have been heard in utero, so it has a remarkable capacity to open and restore the hearing process to what it should have been in the early years. You may find Rafaele Joudry’s book Why Aren't I Learning A very informative read on the topic of early, uterine or childhood hearing injury.
If you still have some hearing in an ear, any hearing at all, then there is potential for Sound Therapy to improve that hearing. We know this because we have had instances where people had severe hearing loss, to the extent that they were using hearing aids all the time, or even some who could only hear loud sounds like a door slamming but nothing else, and yet these people have experienced some improvement when they use Sound Therapy.
No matter what damage your ear has suffered, be it through noise, injury, infection or surgery, if it is still functioning in some way to bring you sound, then perhaps that function can be improved. The reason Sound Therapy may be of benefit in such a range of situations is that it gives a very gentle but specific stimulus to the whole hearing mechanism and auditory pathway. The ear drum is gently massaged, the middle ear muscles are rocked and activated and the cilia and nerve pathways are stimulated with a type of sound and concentrated frequency waves not available from other sources. If your ear is capable of improving, then Sound Therapy is the method most likely to bring about that improvement. As it is impossible to predict in any particular case how much improvement is possible, the only way to really find out is to try it.

Whether you experience tinnitus in your left ear, your right ear on in the middle of your head, you will still use Sound Therapy in the same way. It works on both your ears and some people get improvement first in their right ear, some first in their left. The fact that the music is louder in the right ear does not mean it is working more on the right ear than on the left. The right ear emphasis simply helps the brain to process sound more easily.
To assist with tinnitus we also recommend that you use our Nutrition for the Ear at the same time as Sound Therapy. We do find that people often get better results with tinnitus, as well as an improvement in general well being, if they use the Nutrition for the Ear as well. Please consider adding these products to your listening program. For more detailed information on Nutrition for the ear please see the chapter “Nutrition for the ear” in Rafaele Joudry’s book Triumph Over Tinnitus .

The fact that the music is louder in the right ear does not mean it is working more on the right ear than on the left. The right ear emphasis simply helps the brain to process sound more easily. You should set the volume so that you can hear something in one ear. It will then be playing into your other ear and there is a chance that in time it will even help an ear with severe problems. If you can only hear the music in one ear, you do NOT have to turn it up so high that you can hear it in both ears.
Sound Therapy is very effective for high frequency hearing loss. Many people have experienced some improvement in their high frequency hearing when they use Sound Therapy. The music on the albums is specially filtered to exercise the muscles in the middle ear and stimulate the hair like cells (cilia) in the inner ear. There is a good chance that you will have noticeable improvement in your hearing from using the program. We do find that people often get better results with hearing loss if they use the Nutrition for the Ears as well. Please consider adding these products to your listening program. For more detailed information on Nutrition for the Ear please see the chapter “Nutrition for the ear” in Rafaele Joudry’s book Triumph Over Tinnitus .
Sound Therapy is recommended for low frequency hearing loss. Although the albums emphasize the high frequencies, they are also strengthening the ear’s ability to deal with the full range of sounds. Dr Tomatis did recommend his therapy for people with low frequency hearing loss.
Rafaele Joudry believes that it is vitally important to use our nutrition for the ear when undertaking Sound Therapy listening. The stimulation brought about by the music requires the ear to begin functioning at a much higher level of muscular and vibratory activity than previously. Unless extra nutrition is provided at the same time, the ear is struggling to suddenly improve its performance. Athletes require more concentrated nutrition. Now you are becoming an athlete of the ear!

Throughout the Sound Therapy literature we have emphasized the advantages of analogue sound.
Originally, our program was only available on cassette tape, because this enabled us to deliver a program in analogue sound, which is more true to its original form and therefore superior for therapeutic purposes.
However, since recent advances in technology, we have developed a way to use original analogue masters and filtering, but transfer the final album to CD for playback. Because of the very careful mastering and highest level technology used in the transfer process, we have achieved this with no apparent loss of therapeutic quality, as long as the original CD is used.
On our CDs the entire recording, mastering, activation and filtering processes are still carried out on analogue sound, using reel to reel tape and a full analogue studio.
We have always stood for the superiority of analogue sound, and we still do. Analogue sound is natural, whole sound, and this is important for the therapeutic process of Sound Therapy. Through our careful, highest quality reproduction methods, we can now provide a product with the advantages of analogue processing on a digital playback medium. This is how we do it.
The Sound Therapy process
Analogue live recording captures as much as possible of the true essence, variation and power — and of course the high harmonics — in the music.
Analogue Activation with Electronic Ear keeps the power and variation in tone intact. This process activates the ear muscles and stimulates the entire nervous system.
Analogue Progressive filtering reflects the natural sound heard in the womb, where the high frequencies are augmented and brain is energized, gradually training the ear and brain to greater gymnastic and acoustic heights.
Analogue Studio Mastering is a vitally important way to retain sound integrity while balancing and fine tuning the whole production.
Analogue to Digital conversion. This is the most important part of the final digital production and hence is done on the highest industry standard equipment in a world class sound reproduction studio.
Playback. This final stage of portable playback technology is now offered on a digital medium, as market changes mean that analogue (cassette) playback cannot be supported indefinitely. However, as there are also drawbacks with cassette technology, such as wow and flutter, tape wear, tape head wear and moving component parts, we believe the end result of doing this final stage on digital does not lose any net value, since we have maintained high quality analogue at every other stage of the production.
The clinical treatment requires your attendance for 3 hour per day for an initial program of about 6 weeks. Your program is supervised by a trained Tomatis therapist. The clinical treatment achieves fantastic results and we highly recommend it if you have the time and money to invest in this program.
Our method is about 10% of the cost of the clinical method, and being a self-help method, there is no outside supervision. However, our listeners have the advantage of long term treatment over many years, which for most people vastly enhances the benefits they receive. A full explanation of the difference is given in the book: Sound Therapy: Music to Recharge your Brain .
.
For two reasons. One is that the high frequency sounds are so subtle that unless they are played directly into the ear they would not reach the ear at all. The other is that training for right ear dominance is achieved by having more sound go into the right ear. A full explanation reasons for right ear emphasis is given in the book: Sound Therapy: Music to Recharge your Brain . Or the book Why Aren't I Learning
For adults we recommend the complete program with the book.
For children we recommend the complete family program with the book.

The choice is really up to you. The most important factor is that they are comfortable and convenient enough that you will use them. If your head phones cause you any pain or discomfort, try another model. Most headphones are adequate for the therapy to work. The mini ear buds that come with the player are fine, as are the light weight headband style or the full sized studio models. In our promotional photos we show a variety of different models as any of them are suitable.
However, it is true that a better headphone will produce a better therapeutic result. We do not recommend using a very cheap model from a ‘remainders’ store. Most reasonable headphones will cost $20.00 or more. It is also true that the more you spend, the better quality you get, and better brands generally produce better sound. The brand we recommend is Sennheiser. Check our website for our favourite models or talk to your personal Sound Therapy Consultant.
Adults: A minimum of three hours a day for six weeks to three months.
Children: Half an hour to an hour a day for six weeks to three months.
After that a maintenance program of 45 minutes per day or a few hours a week is recommended.
Children, depending on their age, should listen for half an hour to an hour a day for six weeks to three months. After that a maintenance program of 30 to 45 minutes per day or a few hours a week is recommended.
The time it takes for Sound Therapy to have effect varies enormously between individuals. Many people notice an improvement in their sleep the very first night. A shift in energy often happens in the first six weeks to three months. For tinnitus, people have had results in as little as two hours and as long as twelve months. Improvements in hearing loss have been noticed after a few weeks or after several years of listening. The same is true for epilepsy, autism, memory and other conditions related to brain function. It is impossible for us to predict how long your particular condition will take to treat, but most likely your listening process will be a wonderful journey of discovery and self development.
To increase the benefits you experience from Sound Therapy and to speed up the results, we also recommend that you use our Nutrition for the Ear. This supports the ear and nervous system to be able to successfully integrate the changes caused by the Sound Therapy.

Adjust the volume so you can just hear the music in a quiet room. Do not turn it up when you go into a noisy environment. If you have hearing loss, turn it up so that you can hear at least some of the sound in one ear at least.
If you use a hearing aid there is a good chance that Sound Therapy will help you. We recommend that you do some of your listening with, and some without your aids. Sound Therapy has helped people with hearing aids because it improves the selective and focussing ability of the ear. It may make it easier to use your hearing aids more successfully in a noisy environment and may address other problems such as sound sensitivity, balance disorders, tinnitus and auditory processing, which could make the use of your aids more beneficial and easier to adjust to. Occasionally people experience so much improvement in hearing that they no longer need the hearing aid.
Some earlier versions of our books recommend demagnetizing your tapes. When Sound Therapy was first released it was on metal tape and demagnetization of the heads in the tape player was important. Now metal tapes are not available and we use high quality ferrous, “normal”, cassettes. Demagnetizers can no longer be purchased, and demagnetization is no longer necessary.

In some of our books we explained that we only released Sound Therapy on cassette tape and not CD, because cassettes can have analogue sound, whereas CDs are digital. Digital sound is prone to errors and many forms of digital sound are of very low quality and have no or little therapeutic value. During the evolution of CDs in the 70s, 80s and 90s, some of the reproduction methods used were of very low quality. However, advances in technology did improve the sampling rates and the accuracy so that a good audio quality could be achieved. This is particularly true if the original music and mastering is processed on analogue equipment, as is ours.
More detailed information on the filtering and reproduction process is included with the Listener’s Workbook, supplied with the Basic Kit.
All of our original music, mastering, filtering and activation — the whole Sound Therapy process — is still done on analogue equipment. With our method (and this is unique today) only the final playback is on CD. This means there is minimal loss to therapeutic quality, as long as you use the original CDs without downloading or copying them.
When our books are reprinted this information will be changed. Because books are printed several thousand at a time, the information in them cannot always be completely up to date
Originally Sound Therapy was released on metal tapes. However, cassettes are now being phased out of production and it is no longer possible to obtain metal tapes in quantity. For several years now Sound Therapy has been offered on high quality ferrous, “normal”, tape, and the therapeutic results have been virtually the same. In recent years our duplication standards have been raised, and this compensates for any possible loss of frequency due to different tape stock. As long as you use our original tapes on the best quality personal cassette player available, your therapeutic quality will be assured. Be sure not to copy the tapes as this could significantly reduce the integrity and therapeutic quality of the sound.

When Sound Therapy was first produced, it was possible to get Walkmans with a frequency response of 16,000Hz. In various print runs of the book we specified that you require 15,000Hz or 16,000Hz. However, at different times, depending on availability.
When our books are reprinted this information will be changed. Because books are printed several thousand at a time, the information in them cannot always be completely up to date.
At the time of printing we include current prices on an order form in the back of each book. This lets the reader know that we do have a product range for sale and what the current price range is. Because books are printed several thousand at a time, the information in them cannot always be completely up to date. Each time our books are reprinted the pricing information is updated. The original book: Sound Therapy: Music to Recharge your Brain , was written when Patricia Joudry had been using the program for just a few months, and the description was based on her own experience. She experienced strong tiredness a few weeks into her listening, and then recovered, experiencing bountiful energy. However, since that time we have noticed that each person is unique, and “healing crisis” such as tiredness, slight dizziness, irritability or other temporary adjustment problems, may occur at different times during the course of healing. While many people may follow a similar path to Patricia, others may get energy immediately, and then have tiredness come on later. “Healing Crisis” is the term given in natural therapies to the process where a condition seems to get worse just before it gets better. Therefore any worsening that you experience when you are listening to Sound Therapy is possibly a sign that your condition is shifting and will soon improve. Persist with your listening, and don’t expect that your path will be the same as anyone else’s. You are unique!
To read more examples of a wide range of peoples experiences with Sound Therapy, refer to Rafaele Joudry’s three books, Sound Therapy: Music to Recharge your Brain , Triumph Over Tinnitus or Why Aren't I Learning?
Occasionally people get to the end of 300 hours and feel that nothing significant has changed in the condition that they were hoping to address. However, it is not possible that “nothing” has changed in your nervous system as a result of all this stimulation. You will have built new brain pathways and activated your brain and nervous system. The question is, have you noticed an impact yet on the area where you desire change?
We have found numerous times that a person may not be aware of changes in a variety of areas such as sleep, hearing, mood, energy, or general wellness. Sometimes it is helpful to ask the people close to you if they have noticed any change in you. We have sometimes been surprised that a listener will say there has been no change, yet a partner or family member may say “I don’t have to repeat myself as much” or “he’s sleeping much more soundly” or he’s more lively and out going” or “she has much more stable moods and doesn’t get as cranky!”
In other instances, a person may not notice changes immediately, but then may go through a winter without getting a cold or sinus problems, which hasn’t happened before.
Many practitioners have found, through measuring people s awareness of their general health before and after treatment that patients will forget what their condition was like a few months back. With the gradual, subtle changes sometimes created by natural therapies, people may not be aware, but if reminded of their original state of health will realize that in fact there has been a change.
In other cases, it may just be that you need a lot longer than 300 hours. Patricia Joudry’s original writing of her story was based on the clinical Tomatis method where 300 hours was considered standard treatment. As most people could only afford this much therapy, the possibility of listening longer was not really explored. However, we have since learned with the portable method, because longer term listening is possible, results may occur after a longer period for some people. In some instances it has taken six months, nine months or over a year to bring about a significant change.
Obviously the stories shared in the books and literature are the more dramatic ones. Each listener hopes for a life-changing shift or resolution of a particular condition, but results vary enormously. Many listeners may just a get a slight change, such as sleeping more deeply or responding better to stressful situations. If acknowledged, this in itself can make a big difference to one’s life.
Everyone is different and some people are very sensitive and aware of slight changes in well-being, stress levels and sensory input. Others may be less tuned in to subtle or gradual changes in physical and mental well-being. If this the case for you, you can be assured by knowing that:
1. The therapy is sure to be doing you some good, whether you are aware of changes or not
2. It is very probable that continued, on going listening will continue to benefit you in new ways
3. Some people find they have more noticeable changes when they go on to using the advanced levels of Sound Therapy, so this is another option for you to consider
A cost per hour for Sound Therapy can only be a very rough estimate as the cost per hour goes down depending on how long you listen. In one of our customer letters we state that Sound Therapy costs less than $1.00 per hour. This is based on a rough calculation that an average investment is around $500. Many listeners will listen for more than 500 hours. Once you pass the 500 hour mark you will have paid less than $1.00 per hour.
Tinnitus is a complex varied and challenging condition to treat. While it has been observed that Sound Therapy often helps tinnitus, and there is a very good chance that this can occur for any listener, it cannot be definitely predicted as each person is different and the degree of damage that has occurred to each ear and nervous system is different.
Occasionally listeners may report that their tinnitus seems to get worse or changes its tone before getting better. In our experience, this is usually just a ‘healing crisis’, where the body is going through an adjustment period before recovering, and may be a good sign that the therapy is beginning to work. Some practitioners believe this could be an indication that the cilia are recovering their function and therefore more sound is reaching the consciousness.
If you are concerned about how you are reacting to Sound Therapy please speak to your Sound Therapy consultant.
All the suggestions and support that Rafaele has discovered in her years of research are included in her book, Triumph Over Tinnitus . This best selling book, newly released in 2007, now in its second edition, includes complete information not just on Sound Therapy but on other complementary methods of treatment which have proved beneficial for many tinnitus sufferers. In particular, refer to the two chapters on herbal medicine and nutrition for the ear. Every transmission between the brain and the ear is both chemical and electrical. While Sound Therapy works on the electrical or vibrational side of the nervous system, the chemical balance is equally important. More people are suffering today from conditions related to chemical imbalance, mineral deficiencies and toxic overload as our environment becomes more polluted and laden with a wide range of artificial chemical compounds.
In addition to reading Triumph Over Tinnitus ., we recommend that you consult a qualified health practitioner for a complete health consultation to see in what other areas you may be able to support your tinnitus recovery. Many of our Sound Therapy consultants are also qualified practitioners in other fields and all of them have experience in treating tinnitus. If you feel that you need more personal support and qualified health advice, we encourage you to book an appointment with one of our consultants.
If you would like to explore how Sound Therapy may be able to help you further, consider purchasing some of our advanced listening programs. After using the Basic Kit, some listeners have had excellent results for tinnitus with our level 2, Full Spectrum. Many have also benefited from the Level 3, Hearing Improvement Kit. For you to get the best, continuous, personalised service we recommend that you order any repeat products from your original Sound Therapy Consultant.
What you have is called pulsatile tinnitus or objective tinnitus. For more information on different types of tinnitus and how to treat them refer to Rafaele Joudry’s best selling book Triumph Over Tinnitus , newly released in 2007 and now in its second edition. This type of tinnitus may be related to stress in your circulatory system. Sound Therapy has the potential to assist with this type of symptom as it reduces stress and may assist high blood pressure. Nutritional supplements can also improve circulation. Anti-oxidants are one type of supplement known to assist circulation, and these typically include ingredients such as vitamins A,C, and E, pine bark extract, ginko biloba, grape seed extract and circuminoids. It is important to take these substances in the right combination and proportions for a therapeutic dose. For more information on supplements which may assist tinnitus please review the chapter on nutrition for the ear in Triumph Over Tinnitus.

While it was vitally important in cassette players to have a machine capable of reproducing a high frequency response, this is not an issue with CD players. Any CD player of reasonable quality would be easily capable of reaching a high enough frequency response for Sound Therapy. However, with CD players, there may be an issue of accuracy in the interpretation of sound signals. Therefore it is advisable to use the best quality CD player that you can obtain. We recommend buying a brand known for its sound quality.
It is essential that you listen through headphones and therefore we recommend that you use a personal CD player that you can carry with you
The Sound Therapy Converter is currently unavailable. We have found that listening to progressively filtered albums was generally of more therapeutic value, so we refer you instead to consider the Advanced Kits available in our range.
If you originally ordered through one of our Sound Therapy consultants, we recommend you to order any repeat programs through your consultant to obtain better, personalised service.
Yes, you can play any cassette on any player. Most cassette players do not have a setting for different tape types. This is because metal tape is no longer widely available and players now adjust to any type of tape. Even if you have an older player and you were to play the tape on the wrong setting, it would just mean a slight change in frequency response.

Sound Therapy is a program that offers an unexpected range of benefits including sleep, energy, listening, hearing, learning, brain function and more. As our listeners use the program through life they often find that new and unexpected benefits develop over the years. Those who use the program longest often report the greatest benefits. It is more enjoyable and also more stimulating for the brain to have a wide range of music so that it does not become too familiar and repetitive. Listeners often report a new level of benefit when they begin with a new kit. Sometimes a stubborn condition may not give way on the first level but with renewed and continued listening commitment it may shift when a new kit is introduced.
Our listeners each have different reasons for using Sound Therapy and may, after the initial three or more months want to develop more benefits in a particular area, whether that be energy, memory, concentration, hearing, physical performance, deep peace or emotional harmony.
As a general rule we recommend that you spend three months listening to each level before proceeding to the new one. However, if you wish to move on sooner for a particular reason, this should not be a problem unless you are particularly sensitive to the sound and have had to curtail your listening program.
Another way of determining that you are ready to proceed is if you have experienced a breakthrough or change in your hearing, energy or brain function. Once you have a experienced a noticeable breakthrough you are ready to move to the next level if you wish, even if you have not completed three months on your current level.
As a general rule we recommend using the advanced kits in order, one through six. However, if you wish to use a particular kit that is relevant for you and not go through the other levels first there is no harm in doing this. For more information on the specific applications of each kit please refer to the catalog in the back of your Listeners Workbook or on our website at the Advanced Kits.

We currently have only six levels of Sound Therapy. There is no obligation to purchase any further levels after using the Basic Kit. However, many listeners choose to purchase some of the advanced kits in order to enhance and add to their benefits from the Basic Program and give more listening variety and enjoyment.
Our training program is not accredited by the Department of Education. Such accreditation is not considered relevant to our program since it is geared to practitioners already working in their fields seeking to enrich their knowledge for the purpose of better assisting their clients with Sound Therapy. The course is not aimed at students seeking further course credits for their general studies.
The course has been developed independently by Rafaele Joudry and Sound Therapy International based on our 20+year of experience in working with practitioners to help bring Sound Therapy to their clients. Since this is a very unique and innovative field, Sound Therapy International, as the developer of the program, is in the best position to determine the relevant content and delivery methods for this material. Sound Therapy International is also the professional body which promotes public awareness of Sound Therapy and directs enquiries to our Qualified Consultants, and as such is best situated to determine the criteria for training in this field. Sound Therapy falls in the discretionary area, meaning that it depends on your level of cover and how many claims you have made. Contact your health fund and discuss it with them and one of their officers will make a decision.
Veterans affairs has no set policy on this but they have been known to purchase the program in certain cases. You will need to contact Veterans Affairs and put your proposal to them.

It is important to play your Sound Therapy on the original CDs that you purchase from us. There is a very big difference between sound quality on CDs versus iPods or MP3 players. iPods and MP3s do not have the capacity for high quality playback. The sound they output is very compressed and of inferior quality to CD. It is important that you do not copy your Sound Therapy onto your iPods, or you will lose its therapeutic effect. Our CDs have been made using special, carefully monitored highly quality equipment and sound engineering processes to ensure the best therapeutic result. To guarantee that you are getting the best delivery of sound, listen to the original CD and please read the instruction in your Basic Kit Workbook on how to care for your CDs.
